The task
A product idea has to become a working trading platform.
A US startup needed a complete platform for direct peer-to-peer trading between buyers and sellers. The platform was never meant to just display listings.
It had to carry the trading process itself: creating offers, finding counterparties, opening trades, managing payment and trading conditions, settling on-chain transactions and running escrow.
How do you turn a product idea into a working trading platform with its own financial transaction logic?
The challenge
The platform has to understand more than a buy button.
On a P2P trading platform the technical challenge is not the user interface. Different states, parties, transactions and business rules have to be tied together correctly.
A trade runs through several steps. Throughout, users, offers, trading conditions, payment status, on-chain transactions and escrow processes have to stay consistent with one another.
The complexity is not in the individual features. It is in making all of them work together correctly.
The system
A trading platform is one connected technical process.
The application was designed as a complete digital system. Frontend, backend, database, on-chain settlement and infrastructure had to work together so that separate components add up to one consistent trading process.

The individual components are only worth something if the whole system works reliably.
Multisig escrow
The financial transaction is part of the software architecture.
A central part of the project was integrating on-chain settlement into the trading process itself. Custom escrow logic based on multisignature transactions was built directly into the platform.
The software had to handle more than classic application data — it had to weave the technical flow of on-chain transactions into the overall lifecycle of a trade.
